Before you buy

How long does it take to heat up?

It runs on USB power rather than mains, so it warms food gently and steadily rather than blasting it. Plug it in a while before you plan to eat — dense, fridge-cold food takes noticeably longer than something shallow and closer to room temperature.

Does it cook raw food?

No. It reheats and holds already-cooked food. Don't use it to cook raw meat, rice or eggs from scratch — it isn't designed to reach or hold food-safe cooking temperatures.

What can I plug it into?

Any standard USB source: a laptop port, a powerbank, a phone wall plug, or a car USB adapter. A wall plug or a decent powerbank will heat faster than a laptop port.

Can I put it in the dishwasher?

The stainless tray and its lid, yes. The outer base holds the heating element and the electronics, so that one gets wiped down instead — never submerged.

Is it leak-proof in a bag?

The lid latches on both sides and seals well enough for solid food and thick sauces carried upright. Treat it as leak-resistant rather than leak-proof — don't lay a soup on its side in a backpack.

What if it arrives faulty?

Send a photo or short video within 30 days and we'll ship a replacement at our cost. You don't need to return the faulty one first.
